Inmate killed inside Beur Jail

Patna, June 7 (UNI) A prisoner was stabbed to death inside the high security Beur Model jail here today.

Patna District Magistrate B Rajendra said Munna Bharti was killed by a rival gang when he came out of his cell to meet his relatives during visiting hour.

He said the prisoner died on the spot. Further investigation was on, he added.

Meanwhile, official sources said the gang of Bindu Singh was involved in the attack.
