Infrastructure woes: Maran asks IT firms to join hands with Govt
Bangalore, June 7 (UNI) IT companies, which had made progress using sops offered by the State Governments, should not just stop at complaining over infrastructural bottlenecks in big cities, but join hands with the Governments to tackle the woes, Union Communications and IT Minister Dayanidhi Maran opined today.
In an indirect reference to the IT firms in the city raising a hue and cry over the lack of infrastructure here, he said ''these companies complain about lack of infrastructure and civic amenities, but do not speak a word about the benefits they get. They should make concerted efforts by joining hands with the Government to solve the problems.'' The Minister was speaking at the India ITeS-BPO Strategy Summit-2006 here.
