Five die as car collides with tree in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad, June 7 (UNI) Five members of a family were killed when the car in which they were travelling caught fire after hitting a tree this morning.

Police said the incident occurred at around 0900 Hours at Sarona village in Muradnagar near here when the family members were returning to their house after visiting a relative. The driver suddenly lost control and the car hit a tree, and caught fire.

All the five occupants died in the blaze, police said.

Those dead include one army personnel and a constable of the Uttar Pradesh police.
