FIR against DM filed

Nalbari, June 7 (UNI) The Asom Government has filed a FIR against Nalbari District Magistrate Ahmed Hussain in a sensational land grabbing case near Guwahati.

Mr Hussain has been accused of grabbing land of tribal belt at Sonapur near Guwahati by falsifying records of his father. This was already found out by the SCST committee of the Asom Assembly.

According to official sources, the Circle Officer of the Sonapur circle has filed the FIR against Mr. Ahmed under the IPC 42017.

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has also granted approval for filing the FIR against a serving bureaucrat.
