Mumbai, June 7 (UNI) Tejaswini Sawant, the gold medalist shooter at the Melbourne Commonwealth games, was today given a prize money of Rs five lakh and a 400 sq ft plot in her home town of Kolhapur.

The prize was given by Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh here.

Mr Deshmukh had made the announcement to this effect in the Legislative Assembly during the budget session.
