Channel 7 unveils new logo
Mumbai, June 7 (UNI) Television Eighteen Group (TV 18) has unveiled a new logo for Channel 7, the latest entrant to the TV 18 Network.
The new logo in red, black and silver is impactful, sofisticated and prominently echoes the channel's positioning, ''Khabar Har Keemat Par''.
A release issued here today said, the entire on-air environment, including the channel ID, show openers and on air graphic packages, has been changed to give the channel a more contemporary look and feel.
The new programming, the stylish graphics and the vibrant editorial team reflects the new attitude of ''Khabar Har Keemat Par''.
Rajdeep Sardesai is the editor-in-chief of Channel 7 and Ashutosh will head the editorial section as Managing editor.
The channel's editorial team includes - Executive Editor (Assignment) Mrityunjay Kumar Jha, Executive editor (Input) Prabal Pratap Singh, Senior Executive Producer (Output) Sanjeev Paliwal, Senior editor-Bureau Chief National Sumit Awasthi, Chief of Bureau, Mumbai Sanjay Prabhakar, Deputy Editor, Programming Rohit Lal, Senior Editor Prashant Tandon.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajdeep Sardesai, Editor in Chief of CNN-IBN and Channel 7 said both the channels will complement each other in serving robust and high quality news from every region of the country and relevant global news. Both channels share common values where CNN-IBN's baseline is ''Whatever it takes'' is balanced by Channel 7's ''Khabar Har Keemat Par''.
Giving details about the programming, Sardesai said ''News Centre'' will be flagship one hour news show encompassing all major news from across the country and outside. On ground reportage, studio interviews and indepth analysis shapes the format of the programme.
Sports Express will be a sports show showcasing key sports stories of the day, Bombay Dreams will be a one point stop for all news on films and entertainment, Hot seat will be a one to one interview format with personalities making news headlines.
Talk shows, debates, crime updates, breakfast shows are also part of the programming mix.
