BJP holds protests against fuel price hike

Jalandhar, Jun 7 (UNI) The BJP activists today staged a dharna in protest against hike in prices of petroleum products.

The party workers gathered at the party local office here, carried out a procession and held dharna at the Kapurthala Chowk.

Similar protests were held at other places of the state too, a party spokesman said.

Meanwhile, the Communist Party Marxist Punjab (Pasla) has decided to participate in the protest day programme to be held on June 13 by the Left parties throughout the country in protest against fuel price hike.
