Iran sees positive points, ambiguities in proposal
Tehran, June 6: Iran's chief nuclear negotiator today said that proposals offered to Iran from six world powers to end a nuclear standoff had some positive points but some ''ambiguities'' that had to be taken out.
''The proposals had some positive steps in them and some ambiguities which should be removed,'' Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, said after a meeting European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana. His comments were carried on state television.
Solana today handed the proposals to Iran.
