BJP burns UPA government's effigy on price hike
Dehradun, Jun 6: Uttaranchal BJP burnt an effigy of the UPA government at clock Tower here today, to protest the hike in fuel prices.
Scores of BJP workers gathered at Gandhi Park and marched towards Clock Tower shouting anti Government slogans and burnt the effigy at Clock Tower.
BJP leader Ganesh Joshi said the UPA government by hiking petrol and diesel prices was making life of common people particularly farmers difficult.
