Silver, gold North-bound on firm global advice

Mumbai, Jun 5: Values of silver and gold rallied on improved demand and firm advice from global markets in the closing session today, traders at the bullion market said.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade: Rs 18,665 (18,570), Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 9,580 (9,510), Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 9,625 (9,560).
