Shramjivi blast accused remanded in judicial custody till June 16
Jaunpur, June 5 (UNI) A local court here today remanded the two accused in last year's Patna-New Delhi Shramjivi Express bomb blast case in judicial custody till June 16.
The accused, Hilal-ud-din and Nafikul, were produced before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) here under tight security.
The duo were brought from Cherallapalli Central Jail, Andhra Pradesh under a warrant last month and remanded in judicial custody on May 23.
Another accused in the blast case, Obaid-ur-Rehman, had already been remanded in judicial custody till June 16.
Obaid-ur-Rahman -- a native of Bangladesh -- was brought here from Murshidabad, West Bengal.
The bomb blast aboard Shramjivi Express on July 28, 2005 near Singramau railway station in Jaunpur had claimed at least 14 lives, while about 90 persons were wounded.
