Randhawa finished tied 14th, Jeev tied 21st in Wales Open

Newport, Wales, June 5 (UNI) Jyoti Randhawa's four-under 65 earned him a share of the 14th place while compatriot Jeev Milkha Singh signed off with a scintillating five-under 64 to finish tied 21st as the Indian duo came up with their best show of the week in the last round of the Wales Open here.

Randhawa, after rounds of 67, 70, 66 and 65, aggregated eight-under 268 for the tied 14th place and got richer by 32791.72 euro.

Volvo China Open winner Jeev totalled six-under 270 (68,69,69,64) to finish tied 21st and pocketed 24375.18 euro.

Meanwhile, Robert Karlsson -- who set new records for 36 and 54 holes -- captured his sixth European Tour title at the Celtic Manor Resort even though the Swede fell two-shot shy of The European Tour's all-time low score of 258.

Randhawa's was a bogey-free display today as he sunk a quartet of birdies -- two in each nine -- for a round of 65.

Jeev, on the other hand, had his only blemish in the lone bogey on the fifth hole as he slotted three birdies in his front nine and repeated the feat on his way back.
