Films with cultural values to be produced

Imphal, Jun 5: A joint meeting of film producers, artists and representatives of social organisations in Manipur have decided to produce films based on the tradition and culture of the state.

It was further decided to stop producing films by imitating alien culture.

Indecent scenes would also be discouraged.

The meeting was organised by the Film Forum Manipur.

Most cinema halls in the state screen only Manipuri films as hindi films are banned by militant organisations.
