Delhi police witnesses major reshuffle

New Delhi, June 5 (UNI) In a major reshuffle in the Delhi Police, 16 police officials, including those of the ranks of Jt CP, DCP and additional DCPs, were transferred from their posts.

Those transferred included four Jt CPs, three DCPs, two additional DCPs and six Inspectors.

Jt CP New Delhi range, B S Brar has been transferred as Jt CP Northern range. He replaces the incumbent Deep Chand who has been transferred as Jt CP Security. Mr Alok Verma, who was Jt CP (Prov and Logistics), replaces Mr Brar as Jt CP New Delhi range.

Mr P S Hota, who was DCP, Headquarters, is now DCP in 4th Battalion, DAP while Mr H M Meena, earlier the Additional DCP North district, is the new DCP Headquarters.

Mr Atul Katiyar, who was DCP at the 4th Battalion, DAP, is the new Additional DCP/North District.
