Congress to select CLP leader on June ten

Kolkata, June 5 (UNI) The Congress Legislature Party(CLP) leader in the newly constituted West Bengal Assembly will be decided on June 10.

"All the 21-elected MLAs of the party have been called to select the CLP leader in presence of our state president Pranab Mukherjee," West Bengal Pradesh Congress working president Pradip Bhattacharjee today told newspersons after a Secretariat meeting.

He said today's meeting decided to organise a dharna in front of the office of Hooghly District Magistrate as part of its agitation against acqusition of farm land by the Left Front Government for a small motor factory, to be set up by Tata Motors at Singur.

The date of the agitation would be finalise after the discuss with the party's president, he added.
