CBSE Engineering entrance exams on Apr 29, 2007
New Delhi, June 5: The sixth All India Engineering entrance examinations organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education , for admission to different NITs/IIITs and deemed universities for B.E/B Tech and B Arch/B Planning courses, will be held on April 29 next year, the CBSE announced today.
The results of the AIEEE, 2006, for admissions to B.E/B Tech and B Arch/B Planning courses, were declared on May 24. The counselling for the courses will start from June 19.
The CBSE, on Saturday, declared the result of the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental entrance examination, 2006. The examination was held in two stages- preliminary and final examination.
Around 233591 candidates registered in the preliminary examination out of which 17068 qualified for the final examinations, held on May 14.
Based on the score of final examination, 1654 candidates have been placed on the merit list and 1654 on the waiting list. The results can also be accessed at www.cbseresults.nic.in, www.cbse.nic.in and www.results.nic.in.
