BJP demands CBI inquiry in TTD fund 'misuse'

Tirupati, June 5 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today demanded a CBI inquiry into alleged misuse of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) funds.

Addressing a press conference here, BJP national secretary and former Union Minister B Dattatreya demanded the government order a CBI inquiry into use of TTD funds in the construction of a guest house and choultry in the sacred hills of Tirumala.

He alleged that the TTD trust board chairman T Subbarami Reddy was sanctioning work for his personal gain.

Mr Dattatreya also urged the government to 'dissolve' the present trust board.
