BJP demands CBI probe in TTD fund misuse

Tirupati, June 5: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today demanded a CBI inquiry into the alleged misuse of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) funds.

Talking to newspersons here, BJP National Secretary and former Union Minister B Dhattatreya demanded the government to order a CBI inquiry to probe the misuse of TTD funds in the construction of guest house and choultry at sacred hills of Tirumala.

He alleged that the TTD Trust Board Chairman T Subbarami Reddy had sanctioned the works for his personnal gains.

Mr Dhattatreya urged the Government to 'dissolve' the present Trust Board.
