50-yr-old woman gang-raped; two arrested

Nagpur, June 5 (UNI) Police have arrested two youths for allegedly gang-raping a 50-year-old woman in the Kotwali police station area in the wee early today.

Police said, three youths entered the house of the victim at around 0400 hrs, beat her husband and raped her at knife-point.

The woman later lodged a complaint with the police after which the youth - Hiraman Tulsiram Rokde (23) and Prashant Ramkrishna Chaple (26) were arrested. The third accused is absconding.

The youth also snatched her gold ornaments and other valuables.

A search has been launched for the third accused, while investigation into the incident is on, police said.
