Two-day Session to discuss amendement to 'Office of Profit'Bill 1956
Bangalore, Jun 4 (UNI) A two-day special session of the Karnataka Legislature will begin here tomorrow to discuss certain amendments proposed to 'Office of Profit' 1956 Bill, Minister for Transport Chaluvarayaswamy said today.
Talking to newsmen here, he said that return of the Parliament (Prevention of Disqualification) Amendment Bill 2006 by President A P J Abdul Kalam will not have any bearing on the State bringing in amendments to the State's Bill which has already been passed in 1956.
''In 1956 the Bill was passed and certain amendment to the Bill will be placed in the Session for discussion by both the Houses tomorrow,'' he added.
