Tension in Pondy after group clash

Pondicherry, Jun 4 (UNI) Tension prevailed at Bahour, near here, following a clash between two groups in which three houses were ransacked and six persons injured.

According to police, trouble began after one Satheesh, who was riding a moped, hit Kaliyamoorthy. A wordy duel erupted and ballooned into a clash.

Heavy police pickets have been posted in the village to prevent any untoward incidents.
