Relief for rupee; likely to trade at 45.90/46.00/USD

Mumbai, June 4 (UNI) Rupee jumped by one per cent and closed on 45.90 US Dollar on Friday which though, is this weeks high, was two paise lower from the previous close of 45.88/89 USD.

The foreign fund outflow of Rs 1,204.6 crore is less by Rs 4,531 crore from the previous week's flow of Rs 5,735 crore and will to some extent reduce the pressure on Rupee.

Rupee will also be under pressure due to decline in the forex reserves by USD 270 million to USD 162.692 billion for the week ended on May 26, as per Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) weekly report.

The Indian unit may trade in the range of 45.90 to 46.00 in the coming week.
