Rane, Shinde look alikes?

Panaji, June 4 (UNI) Do Goa Chief Minister Pratapsinh Rane and Union Power Minister Sushilkumar Shinde look alike? ''Yes,'' the two of them admit. They are not twins but entwined in politics over the years, experiencing the ups and downs alike.

''Many times, even late Prime Minister Mrs Indira Gandhi used to find it difficult to differentiate between us as we look alike,'' said a chuckling Mr Rane.

He admitted this in presence of Mr Shinde while addressing a party meeting at the Congress House yesterday to the amusement of the participants.

Mr Shinde became nostalgic and said the party never ignored the ''loyal, sincere and dedicated workers'' and his was one such example.

Even Rajya Sabha member from Goa Mr Shantaram Naik spoke about this fact last evening where Mr Shinde dedicated to the people the state-of-the-art Goa State Load Dispatch Centre.
