Punjab mail delayed by two hours
Bathinda, Jun 4 (UNI) The ferozpur bound Mumbai-Ferozpur Punjab Mail was delayed by nearly two hours, when it hit two bulls standing in the tracks here this morning.
Railway sources said the train had just gone a few kms from here when the driver all of a sudden applied the brakes on seeing two bulls standing in the middle of the tracks. Despite applying the brakes, the bulls were crushed under the wheels of the engine.
Another engine was sent to haul the train back to Bathinda.
Railway officals said the train got delayed by two hours and it was only after the rail tracks were cleared, that it was allowed to proceed further.
