Pondy CM promises all round development

Visakhapatnam, Jun 4 (UNI) Pondicherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy today said his government will take all effort for the development of the union territory to make it a model state.

Speaking to reporters at the airport on his way to Yanam, he said his government was committed to the development of the union territory.

Tourism Minister Malladi Krishna Rao, who was present on the occasion, said Yanam would be developed as a tourism centre and Central funds will be used for development of Pondicherry.

Mr Rao also said his government would give top priority to the welfare of the fishing community in the state.
