One arrested for abetting conversion

Ujjain, MP, June 4 (UNI) A man has been arrested on the charge of inciting a person to convert in order to get his tuberculosis disease cured, police said today.

Jagdish Bharti was arrested allegedly for encouraging Naresh Chouhan to convert in order to get his disease cured. He has been arrested for hurting religious sentiments.

VHP's Mukesh Yadav and Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) district president Amresh Tiwari alleged that some people tried to encourage Naresh to convert.

VHP and BJYM workers staged a demonstration before the police station.
