Mediamen roughed up at Modi function, boycott event

Rajkot, June 4 (UNI) Mediapersons were today roughed up at a programme which was being attended by Gujarat Governor Naval Kishore Sharma and Chief Minister Narendra Modi at a school in Ribada, about 20 km from here.

Some security personnel, who were part of the Chief Minister's convoy, reportedly misbehaved with a television cameraman and photographers while they were taking pictures. This enraged the fellow mediapersons and they decided to boycott the programme.
