Karippur airport to function 24 hours

Kozhikode, Jun 4 (UNI) In a bid to provide hassle-free service to passengers, the Karippur International Airport near here will function round-the-clock from tomorrow.

The airport would handle air traffic day and night, director R Veeraswamy said.

The airport had been functioning from 0530 hrs to 1030 hrs.

The new arrangement has been made despite shortage of staff following complaints of flight operations being delayed due to inclement weather, he said.
