Irregularities in transfer of staff in Women varsity
Gulbarga, June 4 (UNI) Alleging largescale irregularities in the transfers of staff of the Women's University of Bijapur, the Hyderabad-Karnataka Educational Society today demanded that the state government set up a high-level committee to inquire into the episode.
Addressing a press conference here, Society Vice President Shashil G Namoshi, MLC, charged varsity Vice-Chancellor Shahik with effecting the transfers violating all norms.
Producing xerox copies of official documents pertaining to the transfers, he said ''This is a clear evidence to prove that money-based transfers have been carried out in the varsity.'' He appealed to the Governor, also the Chancellor of the University, to intervene and stop such transfers immediately.
