London, June 4 (UNI) England stand-in captain Andrew Flintoff's exploits with the bat and ball and ruthless aggression has prompted a Lancashire cheese maker to cash in on the Preston-born star's popularity and the firm has created a special fondue in the honour of English cricket's biggest sensation.

''Lancashire is very proud of Andrew's achievements and the whole county will be behind the team as they play Sri Lanka. With a blend of protein and carbohydrates, the Freddie Fondue is a great dish for energy and to line the stomach before a match or before the post-match celebrations,'' Mike Lough, from Creamy Lancashire Cheese was quoted as saying in the Lancashire Evening Post.

The dish has been re-created with Creamy Lancashire Cheese, Thwaites Lancaster Bomber -- Freddie's favourite beer and toasted chunks of Lancashire barm cakes.
