CISF jawans beat people, vandalise market
Indore, June 4 (UNI) CISF jawans today beat up people injuring nine of them, including five women, in the vegetable market at Badwah in this district, police said.
Police have registered cases against seven jawans and have sought permission for arresting them.
Inspector General of Police (Indore range) Shailendra Srivastava said several jawans came to take revenge after a jawan was beaten up by some people in the market yesterday.
The jawans vandalised the market, overturned materials and beat up people. However, people received minor injuries.
CISF DIG Y K Dasu met police officials after the incident and later suspended a jawan. He assured that action would be taken against other jawans after they were identified.
