Dehradun, Jun 4 (UNI) China is a fine example of a ''capitalistic growth in a communist discipline'', Uttaranchal Nationalist Congress Party chief Suryakant Dhasman said here today.

Mr Dhasmana, on his return from a nine-day goodwill visit to China, told reporters that the ''discipline, nationalistic feeling, love for language and culture'' among the Chinese people has played a major in the unprecedented growth there.

He said the way Chinese government has balanced the growth of small scale sector along with large scale industries, agriculture is a fine lesson for other countries.

''Despite having lesser land under cultivation than India China is producing more crops as agriculture has been given the status of an industry there,'' he said.

Quoting the authorities of a Chinese University, Mr Dhasmana said the area in which China trails behind was Software Technology due to the lack of knowledge of English language.

He said the Chinese government was keen to maintain friendly relations with its neighbours in order to take forward the country on the path of becoming an ''economic superpower''.

''Chinese people and the government is keen on strengthening its ties with India,'' he said quoting Chinese Minister for International Affairs Wong Jiyarui.

An eight-member delegation of the NCP visited China from May 24 to June 1, on the invitation of International Department of the Central Commitee of Communist Party of China.
