Cartridges found dumped in dry water tank

Nagpur, June 4 (UNI) Police have found 21 rifle cartridges, 19 of them live, dumped in the Sonegaon water tank near the city's Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport.

The tank has remained dry of late and has been used by nearby residents to dump garbage.

Acting on a tip-off, the police inspected the tank and found the cartridges, two of them empty, in a heap of garbage.

Incidentally, only a few days back, three militants were gunned down in Nagpur.
