BJP's party executive will decide from where Uma will contest: Patel
Sagar, MP, June 4 (UNI) Bharatiya Jana Shakti (BJS) leader and former Union Minister Prahlad Patel today said the party executive would decide whether BJS President Uma Bharti will contest byelection from Vidisha Lok Sabha seat or Bada Malehra Vidhan Sabha seat.
The byelection to Vidisha seat is being held due to the resignation of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while bypoll to Bada Malehra is being held because of Ms Bharti's resignation.
Mr Patel told reporters here that Ms Bharti's 'Bharat Bachao Yatra' will remain in Madhya Pradesh for 20 days.
Her yatra will reach the state capital on June 15 after negotiating its way from Chhindwara on June 11, Betul on June 12 and Hoshangabad on June 13 and 14.
The BJS membership drive will continue till June 30. The party aims to make 5 lakh members.
