Arjun Singh to discuss education policies with UAE ministers

Dubai, June 4 (UNI) Union Human Resource Development Minister Arjun Singh will tomorrow visit the offshore campus of BITS Pilani at the Knowledge Village, a venue specially created for international educational institutions.

Mr Singh, who arrived here early today, was received at the airport by Indian embassy officials.

He is scheduled to meet senior education ministers in Abu Dhabi to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the field of education.

Mr Singh will hold talks with Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan and Minister of Education Hanif Hassan.

He will also meet the Indian expatriate community and attend various receptions.
