About 70 fall ill after comsuming ice candy

Churu, June 4 (UNI) At least 70 people, including children and women, fall ill after consuming ice candy in Tehsil Rattan Garh in Churu district last evening.

Suprintendent of Police Hari Ram Meena said about 20 children were admitted to civil hospital after complaining of vomitting and loose motions. Later the toll rose to 70 till midnight. Many of the admitted were discharged this morning.

Mr Meena said no case has been registered in this connection but the police is investigating the matter and a case would be registered against those found guilty.
