Tiger skin seized, one arrested

Mumbai, June 3: One person was arrested and tiger skin worth Rs 50,000 was seized from him near Ram Mahal hotel at Kurla here.

Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested one Rupaji Sawant, 49, yesterday for illegal posession of tiger skin.

The police have registered a case under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972 against him.
