Three militants arrested in Jammu

Jammu, Jun 3 (UNI) Three militants, including an overground worker, were arrested from Rajouri, Doda and Kathua districts of Jammu in the past 24 hours, police said.

An absconding SPO, Mohammad Din, who had joined the militants last year, was arrested from Rajouri. The weapon allotted to him, a self-loading rifle was also recovered, sources said.

Another militant, identified as Zakir Hussain, was arrested from Kathua. He was tracked down after security forces intercepted his communication with his headquarters in Zaffarwal area of Pakistan. A high band-width wireless set was seized from him, the sources added.

Army troops arrested an over grounded worker, Shiv Kumar at Beja area in Doda last night, they said, adding he was handed over to the police for interrogation.
