Seven killed in separate road accidents
Shimla, June 3 (UNI) Five people including a six-year-old child, were killed on the spot when the car in which they were travelling fell into a gorge near Maglot, 150 km from here, today, police sources said.
The car carrying the five people was on its way from Rampur to Vaghal.
The deceased were identified as Dr Bhim Sain (59), Krishna Devi (50), Savnam (30), Kanta Devi (30) and Babal (6).
Dr Bhim Sain had retired last month from the post of Deputy Director in the Animal Husbandry department.
In another accident, two tourists from Punjab were killed and as many injured when their car fell into the Parbati river near Manikaran in Kullu district today. A two-year-old child in the car escaped unhurt and was rescued by the locals of the area.
