Rahul Mahajan's condition improves

New Delhi, June 3 (UNI) The condition of Rahul Mahajan has improved "considerably" and his ventilator support is being reduced, Apollo hospital, where he was admitted following a suspected overdose of cocaine, said.

''Rahul is getting spells of consciousness. His vitals have stabilised and his ventilator support is being reduced,'' hospital spokesman Dr Karan Thakur said.

Rahul was admitted to the ICU of the hospital early yesterday in an unconscious state. His blood pressure and respiratory rate were low and his blood oxygen level was also low.

The hospital said a report on the cause of his condition was not yet ready.
