Mumbai, Jun 3: Precious metal prices recovered on improved demand in the opening session, traders at the bullion market today said.

Following were the rates: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade : Rs 18,620, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 9,520, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 9,565.
