Moderate showers make city breathe easy

Mumbai, June 3: Residents across the city breathed easy from incessant rains, water-logged roads and choas as the intensity of downpour remained moderate during the last 24 hours.

According to weather bureau, Colaba and Santa Cruz received 2.9 mm and 0.2 mm of rainfall respectively till 0830 hrs today.

After the intital derailment of raod and rail traffic two days ago due to flash floods and water logging, the city has limped back to normal.

Meanwhile, weather forecast predicts cloudy sky with sporadic showers and rains in parts of the city in the next 24 hours. Also, heavy rains are expected to hit isolated parts of the city.
