Fire in RTA office

Hyderabad, June 3 (UNI) Several records were destroyed in a fire which broke out in the second floor of the RTA office in Khairatabad area today.

According to fire service, local residents noticed the fire and informed the fire service.

Two fire tenders doused the fire.

Joint Secretary of the Road Transport Department Venkateswarlu and other top officials rushed to the spot and supervised the fire-fighting operations.

Mr Venkateswarulu told newspersons that the fire was caused by electrical short circuit.
