Charges framed against Prabhunath in other cases

Bhagalpur, Jun 3 (UNI) A local court today framed charges against JD(U) MP from Maharajganj Prabhunath Singh in connection with three different murder cases.

Additional district and sessions judge of Fast Track Court Shambhu Nath Singh framed charges against the JD(U) MP in connection with the cases.

The first case in which charges were framed against Singh and four others was related to murder of gun merchant Ajay Singh under Chapra police station in Saran district in 1992.

In another case, charges were framed against the JD(U) MP and MLA from Mashrakh Kedarnath Singh for their involvement in the murder of Raj Narain Singh and Kishori Sigh under Masrakh police station in Siwan district in 1992.

Charges were also framed against the JD(U) leader in connection with a shoot-out, which had claimed the lives of four workers of the then Indian People's Front under Masrakh police station in Siwan district in 1994.
