Chain snatcher arrested

Surat, June 3 (UNI) Detection of Crime Branch and Chowk police today arrested a notorious culprit for chain snatching in the city.

DCB sources said that Mukesh Manbhai Solanki, a resident of Sangrampura, used to snatch chains from the victims by travelling in a motorcycle.

DCB sources said that he is accused in around eight to ten cases in various parts like Umra, Katargam and Mahidharpura in the city.

Police registered a case under IPC sections 379 and 114.
