UN launches $103 mn aid plan for Indonesia quake
Geneva, June 2: The United Nations today said it had launched a 3 million plan to bring aid to more than 200,000 people seriously affected by last week's earthquake in Indonesia.
Among priorities for the six-month operation were providing emergency shelter, medical assistance, clean water and sanitation, food and child protection for survivors of the quake in which more than 6,000 people died.
