UP coalition partner alleges corruption in Mulayam govt

Mirzapur, June 1 (UNI) Major ruling coalition partner in Uttar Pradesh Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) today alleged that corruption was ruling the roost in the state government.

Expressing dissatisfaction over the functiong of UP dispensation, RLD chief and former union minister Ajit Singh claimed there was no crunch of funds with the government.

''However, the honesty of ministers in the Mulayam Singh Yadav government is questionable,'' he observed addressing a farmers rally here.

Mr Singh also criticised the work culture of the government.

''Despite announcing to provide 15 hr power supply, farmers are not getting even two hrs of power daily.'' The RLD president maintained that several announcements had been made by the state government, but nothing was being done on ground.
