Telangana feasible: BJP

Hyderabad, Jun 1 (UNI) The BJP today categorically stated that Telangana was ''economically, culturally, geographically and historically feasible.'' Speaking to newsmen here party spokesman Prakash Javadkar said if the separate state was formed, both Telangana and Andhra would witness rapid progress.

He alleged both the Congress and the Telangana Rashtra Samiti had betrayed the people of Telangana.

Mr Prakash said if the Congress took the responsibility of moving a resolution in Parliament, the BJP would support it.

''If not, the BJP would move the resolution when it comes to power.

Only the BJP can bring Telangana state,'' he arrested.

He said to expose the ''true colours'' of Congress and the TRS, the BJP will be organising a campaign in support of Telangana tommorow.

He said the convoy of BJP National President Rajnath Singh and senior leader Venkaiah Naidu would leave from Lake View Guest House in Hyderabad at 1400 hrs for a meeting at Palamuru in Mahbubnagar district.

''We will continue to organise such programmes to mobilise support for Telangana.'' he added.
