Sudarshan laud cops for foiling attack on RSS HQ abortive
Nagpur, June 1 (UNI) Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) chief K S Sudarshan, who is out of the city to attend the Officers Training Camps (OTC) in West Bengal, today congratulated the police personnel who foiled an attempt of militants to blow up the RSS headquarters in Nagpur.
The OTC, are being organised in throughout the country and the RSS senior activists and leaders are participating in the camps. One such camp was also being held in Nagpur at RSS premises at Rashimbagh here. Both Mr Sudarshan and RSS General Secretary were out of city when the attack on the headquarters took place today.
In a statement circulated to the press here, Mr Sudarshan said the RSS headquarters had been in the hit list of the terrorists since last four years and today's attack on RSS headquarters was their planned series of earlier attacks at Parliament, Akshardham, Varanasi, Ayodhya, the Congress convention in Srinagar and Doda.
Their aim behind such attacks was to create terrorism, anarchy, fear so as to disturb the law and order in the country,'' he said.
State BJP president Nitin Gadkari condemned the militants for making attempt to attack on RSS headquarters and described it as act of ''cowardice''.
