Ram Naik condoles Gadkari's death
Mumbai, June 1 (UNI) Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ram Naik has condoled the death of noted journalist Madhav Gadkari who passed away in a Pune hospital this morning.
In his condolence message, Mr Naik said Gadkari was an editor with the people's concern in mind. He recalled that Gadkari had dedicated a tube well at a leper's colony in Borivali which had been set up through his (Mr Naik's) MLA fund. That was my first project, Mr Naik recalled.
Gadkari had left his mark in Marathi journalism, Mr Naik said.
His sentiments were echoed by Maharashtra State BJP chief Nitin Gadkari who also expressed grief at the passing away of the veteran journalist.
